The City of Raleigh will upgrade the software that staff uses to manage the Permit and Development Portal on October 8. This upgrade will require a complete portal outage from 4 p.m. on October 8 to 8 a.m on October 11. No activity will be allowed in the portal during this time.
Applicants may still submit projects via email during the outage, but they will not begin processing until Monday, October 11. You can always visit the Permit and Development Portal Help Center for general questions about the portal. We look forward to providing you with these service improvements. Questions? Effective October 1, 2021, the sediment and erosion control plan review fee for single family residential lots will be set at $100 per lot for applications submitted to Wake County, regardless of the acreage of land disturbance. The Wake County Board of Commissioners recently approved this change in response to House Bill 489, which restricts the erosion control plan review fees on single family lots within a residential development or common plan of development to no more than $100 per lot. This fee only applies to the review of erosion control measures for individual single family lot construction. All other plan review and permit fees remain unchanged. For any questions regarding this change, please contact Ashley Rodgers at Ashley.Rodgers@wakegov.com or (919) 856-5531. |
