May 19, 2022 - The Home Builders Association of Raleigh-Wake County has been recognized for Best HBA Partnership/Coalition for the partnership with the Triangle Community Coalition and for Best Public Relations Program with Imagine Wake with two Awards of Excellence from the Executive Officers Council (EOC) of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
The Association of Excellence Awards is an annual program designed to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of state and local home builders' associations and executive officers in the field of association management. EOC membership is comprised of the staff executives who direct more than 650 NAHB-affiliated state and local home builders' associations representing more than 140,000 home builders in communities across the United States.

May 5, 2022 - The Home Builders Association of Raleigh-Wake County is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2022 HBA Family Scholarship. All HBA Family Scholarship winners will receive $1000 from the HBA of Raleigh-Wake County’s Charitable Foundation to be used toward their education for the 2022-2021 school year. Family Scholarship recipients must be the child or grandchild of a current HBA member, a graduating high school senior, in need of financial aid, planning to attend a public college or university in North Carolina full time beginning in the fall semester 2022, and have shown leadership capabilities in their school and/or community. In addition to the Family Scholarship Winners, the Charitable Foundation also gives out $10,000 in scholarships per year to Wake Tech students who are studying in homebuilding-related fields.

June 9, 2022 - Operation: Coming Home has been awarded the Daughters of the American Revolution - Excellence in Community Service Award. This award was established by the Daughters of the American Revolution so that local DAR Chapters can recognize community organizations, like Operation: Coming Home, with distinguished and ongoing service to our community. Chapter members have seen the tremendous impact that Operation: Coming Home has had in the military community. The DAR, founded in 1890 and headquartered in Washington, DC is a non-profit, non-political volunteer women's service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, historic preservation and securing America's future through education of children.
June 9, 2022 - Operation: Coming Home Key Ceremony was held for Hero Home 25 on June 9th at the Brightleaf community. Congratulations to US Army SSG Michael Kacer and his family for being the recipient of Hero Home 25.
